Katherine Claire Forsberg arrived on 2/2/2011 at 9:34am. She was 8 lbs 3 oz (just like her brother) and 19 inches long. She has quite a bit of dark blond hair and blue eyes. So far she has been a dream baby! She has slept for as long as 5 hours in one stretch! We are trying not to get too excited since this might just be part of the sleepy newborn stage, but she is a little angel. The pediatrician said she was perfect.February 2, 2011 was an eventful day in Dallas. It was the second day of the ice storm, and we were concerned about getting to the hospital in time for my surgery. Luckily, the ride was easy and not too icy. The worst part of the drive was backing out of our driveway and driving down our alley to the street. However, the city pretty much shut down with school closing for 4 days and power outages throughout the state. Luckily, Katie Claire is all snuggled up and warm here at Medical City Hospital. She has had lots of family visitors so far and is being showered with love every minute of the day.
