Stairclimber

Will made it all the way up the stairs!  18 in total...  He seems to enjoy the climb!  Here is a video of his big achievement!

First Haircut!

Will had his first haircut yesterday!  My mom and dad were in town, and so I asked my mom to trim Will's curls.  Will didn't seem to mind the haircut at all.  We took this video as well as the pictures below:

Will in the snow

Since Will has had a cold, we were leery to take him out in the snow. However, today I broke down. After being a shut in for a few days, I also thought it might be time to go outside even if only for a little while.

So I bundled him up, and we went out front where there is still quite a bit of snow on the ground from Thursday - the snowiest day in Dallas history. (We got 11 inches in out part of town!) Will didn't really know what to make of it, but he did enjoy putting his hands in the snow at first and he thought it was hilarious... so I grabbed my camera to see if I could get just a few shots of him in the snow.  By the time I was back, he didnt think it was as funny - his hands were getting cold I assume - but I still got some cute pics of him.

This might be the most snow Will sees until his first ski trip!

Here are some pictures of our house and our street after the winter wonderland storm.

Snow Day!

By the time I woke up this morning, there was already quite an accumulation of snow on the ground. Our nanny couldn't make the drive in with the weather, so I canceled my meetings and Will and I spent the day together.

We didn't actually get out in the snow since Will has a little cold (or maybe he is just teething - hard to know the difference sometimes). Anyway, we had quite an adventurous day. My sister inspired me to take more videos with the iPhone after her Will-with-a-Coke-can video, so I got some good footage of Will helping empty the dishwasher, sweep and also caught some footage of his toilet paper discovery.

Will also really took to waving today. If I waved, he would wave back and he thought it was just hysterical. I didn't get a video of that, but I will try again....maybe tomorrow. It doesn't look like the weather is going to improve and that is just fine with me!

10 months old!

Will is 10 months old! Where has the time gone? It certainly does go by quickly. These monthly milestones are always a good reminder to savor every moment because he is really growing up so fast.
I am loving every minute with him.
This month he seems happier than before. He has always been a happy baby, but he really doesn't cry at all anymore. We used to get the cries when we would change his diaper, and we had some cries when we would put him down to bed. These cries are all gone now. He cannot stay still (or on his back!) for diaper changes, so that is still a challenge! Putting him to bed is now really fun as he is usually happiest right before he goes to sleep. We play this game with him and his blankie before we leave the room, and he giggles and shrieks and then plays alone in his crib for a while. When Will was 4 months old or less, if someone would have told me this is where we would be at month 10 I never could have believed them. Watching him change and grow is just so fun.
