Highland Park's Centennial Celebration

The town of Highland Park celebrated it's 100th birthday last weekend.  There was an awesome party at Lakeside Park, complete with zip lines, bounce houses, rock climbing walls, sno-cones, and cupcakes!  The kids had a blast - we were there for 3.5 hours!

Pumpkin Patch, Visit #2

Katie has been asking to go to the pumpkin patch.  A few mornings, the first thing she has said was "I go pumpkin patch."  With my love for halloween and all things pumpkin, this makes me day!  So of course, we headed back to the pumpkin patch.  We spend a lot of time relocating pumpkins using wheel barrows and wagons.  We always leave with a few more pumpkins for our collection.

Will really wanted to take this pumpkin home!

Mom's Group Fifth Annual Costumes at the Park

We had our FIFTH!!! Annual Costumes in the Park event with my mom's group.  We had a great photographer come and take pics of our kiddos in their costumes. My firefighter was all about getting his picture taken (with his ax!) but his "fire dog" was not interested at all!  We got a few shots of her playing the playground afterwards, but that was it!

I am so grateful for this amazing group of women and their kiddos who have been a huge part of my life these past 5 years!  Here is a link to pictures from past years.

The group!  We were missing a few this year.

The State Fair of Texas

We had a great time at the Texas State Fair.  The kids loved it and so did we!

This was the first time Katie rode the rides and she was in love.  We always enjoy visiting the animals as well.  We probably only say about 20% of the fair - I think we should plan on multiple trips next year so we can see more!

You can see the joy in Katie's face!

These kids are getting so tall!
