Will's 3rd Birthday Party

This past weekend we celebrated Will's third birthday at the local firestation. Will had a great time and I think his friends did too! We spent about 30 minutes climbing in the fire trucks and ambulances at the fire house, and then headed across the street to the park for lunch and cake.

Guest Photographers

This weekend I had 3 guest photographers use my camera. Will (age 3), Armando (age 4) and Maddie (age 6). I personally was surprised at how well their images turned out, so I thought they deserved their own blog entry.

Bunnies

Today we took the kids to get their pictures taken with bunnies. Will LOVED it - he was all smiles and so badly wanted to pick the bunnies up. Katie was a but skeptical but she did great. She just preferred the eggs to the bunnies.

Will is 3!

We celebrated Will's birthday with his best friend Armando and his cousin Andrew yesterday. Will loved his fire engine cake! I just love the idea of having a cake on your birthday, but his birthday party is at a park and I didn't think it would be easy to eat it there, so we had it at home. Our favorite cake lady, Colleen, made this one as she makes all of our family cakes - starting with our wedding cakes. She is amazing, and Will loved all the details!

It's official. She walks without being prompted and so it is official - both Katie and Will walked at 13 months old! Thanks kids for making it easy to remember!

Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood has an annual Easter egg hunt, and this was our first year to attend! We headed over with Will's best buddy Armando and family and the kids had a great time. We met Aunt Leen and Uncle Chuck there while the little ones were in the crowds of kids to "hunt" the 6,000 eggs! I think Will got between 12-15 and Katie probably got 10. Both were so excited to get some candy.

Here they are in the stroller heading to the park for the hunt! We weren't the first ones there, but we were among the last to leave. Our last hour or so was spent in the fire station. Will sat in every vehicle they have! He can't wait to go back next weekend for his birthday party!

Armando and Will tried to give him candy and Will kept asking him "Do you hop?" The bunny never talked, and Will still talks about how the bunny didn't answer his question because he couldn't talk.
